What Is An Email Autoresponder?

An autoresponder is a tool that allows you to structure your emails in a personalized manner. It sends out your emails automatically to a group or several groups of people or to your website subscribers. It has a database of email addresses.

  • Subscribers sign up on your website to receive emails and updates from you.
  • Once the personalized emails are crafted in an order or a series, they are sent automatically as scheduled by you in the autoresponder software.
  • This is the best way to keep your audience or subscribers engaged and to gain trust in the long run and also they get to know the updates regularly.

LIST OF AUTORESPONDERS: (Commonly used by Marketers)

First, you’ll need to sign up for an autoresponder such as GetResponse or any of the above-mentioned list of commonly used autoresponders. Then set up a list within the autoresponder software for each group of people with whom you want to send out the emails.

Some businesses require only one list of subscribers (i.e businesses who only send out newsletters). However, we marketers will mostly require multiple lists of subscribers as we’ll be promoting different offers to different groups of people.

Before you get started with your customer’s email addresses, you need to know the worth of your subscribers (email addresses). An email address can be worth a lot of money if treated properly. It is a real Business Asset. An email address is valued roughly at $1 by most marketing experts. So that actually means that the number of email lists you can build will determine how much money you can make if managed properly. For Example: If you can collect 10,000 email addresses or Subscribers, you can generate a profit of $10,000 (How cool is that?).

Now to get the email addresses, you need to drive traffic to your opt-in page. You can start driving traffic by running ads on your Social Media platforms for very few bucks and then leading them to your Opt-in Page.

In the Opt-in you can put up an offer (It can be something you’re giving away for free or some discount coupon or something) in exchange for their email address. This is because a person will simply not give you their email address. So this is like a legal bribe to get their email address.

Once they Opt-in and Sign-up to your email list, those emails don’t sit on your computer. They are automatically stored in the autoresponder’s software. So if you are a business, the emails could be mainly about your business and any special offers or affiliate offers you are promoting while other bloggers tend to send emails when they have written a new post (a good autoresponder will automatically do this for you either every time you post or at a frequency decided by you.)

There are three types of emails that you need to know before you start sending out emails to your Subscribers. They can be used for sending both pre-logged emails and broadcasting emails.

They are listed below:

  1. Content Emails
  2. Related Promotion Emails
  3. Relationship Emails (Send this email at least once a week)

(Note: When you send out emails to your Subscribers, remember to send these three types of emails out in a balanced rotation so that you can build a strong relationship with your subscribers. And obviously you can begin to generate profit very fast).

Pre-logged Emails: Day 0 to Day 7 or 10 (Depends on the number of emails in the sequence)

Broadcast Emails: After the first sequence – Lifetime. (Broadcast emails are used to send the latest information that is trending in the News, Industry, etc.

What Are Content Emails?

Remember that the Content emails are the most important of your emails as you need to provide a lot of value to your Subscribers. This email should contain helpful or useful information about the niche you’re in or the products that you’re marketing for. Basically, you want your Subscribers to feel that they’re learning something new about your business or the product while you’re engaging with them. If you consistently keep providing them values, they are most likely to become your customers or Subscribers for life.

What Are Promotional Emails?

Promotional Emails are those emails that get you the profit. Promotional Emails are sent with the details and links of the product that you’re recommending or promoting to them. You can do this either by promoting your own product or by promoting an already existing product as an affiliate with an affiliate link endorsed in it. The best thing about promoting affiliate offers is that you don’t have to invest time and money on creating your own product.

What Are Relationship Emails?

Relationship Emails are those emails where you get a little personal with your subscribers. You can share with them your life stories or experiences that can be really helpful for them and build trust with you. In this way, they actually get to know that they’re not just engaging with a bot but a real person. The more you build trust with them they’ll know that you’re a genuine person and that there’s nothing to hide from them. That’s how you build a relationship with your Subscribers.

I was just looking for this info for some time. After six hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your site. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this kind of informative web sites in top of the list. Usually the top web sites are full of garbage.
